Perform validation, verification and qualification of equipment and methods as needed to support analytical laboratory.

Collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record data.
Identify and correct measurement errors as applicable.
Must be organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
Able to handle a hectic, fast paced, multi-task work environment while maintaining a professional attitude.
Innovative and effective problem-solver.
Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines.
Adhere to all Quality SOPs, policies, procedures and processes
Responsible for testing of raw materials, In-process, and finished goods.
Obtain and test samples of materials according to standard procedures to ensure compliance with established internal specifications.
Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory analysis
Understand unit conversion and perform daily calculations.
Operate equipment, record data, and use unsupervised discretion in the evaluation of data, often working without supervision.
Report any quality, processing problems, and out-of-spec. conditions to the QA supervisor.
Recognizes, documents, and alerts supervisor of trends in data.
Time permitting: Work on other Chemistry or Production related projects
Works in and around paper making machines in a hot and humid environment.
Works with chemicals and chemical testing processes.
The position requires rotating shifts from 8 to as much as 16 hours per shift.
•Applicants must have completed Arkansas Work Keys:
•Applicants must have a Silver (4) or greater in Applied Mathematics, Locating Information and Reading for Information.
•Applicants must have two years’ of experience working in a laboratory environment.
•Applicants must have a high school diploma with classes in chemistry or biology, college degree preferred.
•Applicants must have Microsoft experience, other technical skills preferred.
