The Supply Chain Lead – Aftermarket Parts supports EPE’s $25MM+ aftermarket parts business from a supply chain perspective. The position serves a strategic role working with manufacturing, procurement and the supply base to optimize lead time and fill rate. The position also drives efforts to deliver parts on-time. The person will also administer all ISO documentation to help us maintain ISO 9001 certification and compliance.
The Key Actions of this position are to reduce lead times on aftermarket parts, review and adjust safety stock levels as necessary to reduce stock outs and increase fill rate, process MRP order action and other demands for the assigned parts and generate production orders and purchase orders (new and rework) to meet these requirements. This includes the promising the delivery of parts to meet sales/service requirements, and the follow-up with internal or external suppliers and expediting of the orders to fulfill requirements. Identify internal bottlenecks, or PO delivery issues, and suggest possible action plan to the Resource Manager, Supply Chain Leads, Manufacturing Engineering Manager or the Purchase Manager. Key ISO-related actions include ensuring Quality System & Manual accuracy and compliance. Managing ISO documentation process, audit process and preventive/corrective action processes. Scheduling appropriate reviews and certification board audits.
