Job Description

The Associate Marketing Manager will work closely with the segment marketing director to execute marketing and communication tactics to: identify leads, raise awareness about product benefits and enhance value with existing Paper and Paperboard customers.  In addition, this position is responsible for the execution of marketing assets, including the development of web pages, social media posts and collateral. 

  • Support sales and marketing initiatives, including customer meetings, tradeshows and promotional activities
  • Manage the development of marketing assets, including website, collateral and social media content, working with internal and external resources
  • Analyze campaign results
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to help define and execute content strategy for the organization
  • Participate in industry and consumer digital conversations and prepare trend reports to identify messaging opportunities
  • Distill research reports into compelling key messages
  • Plan and execute editorial calendars across media
  • Write content copy for blogs, thought leadership whitepapers, emails, social media posts, research reports, website copy, digital ads, press releases and other formats
  • Proofread


  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • 2 to 4 years of Marketing experience; B2B experience is heavily desired
  • 2+ years of content writing experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Goal oriented, proactive self-starter
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook)
  • Understanding of best practices of search engine optimization, SEO, a plus.
