Job Description

As a member of the Evergreen Packaging inside Sales Service Team, this position has full responsibility for after sales service activities for specific account portfolios. A key premise in customer satisfaction is to understand the needs and expectations of customers.  The customer satisfaction process then requires that the right resources be deployed efficiently to meet or exceed the expectations of the customers.

The Sales Service Account Executive will provide service support to our customers, operational and support teams, within the Evergreen manufacturing operations.  This individual plays a central role in the order management, supply chain management process and interfaces with customers, commercial and manufacturing teams to achieve superior customer performance. This position is responsible for on-time customer deliveries, supply chain management, inventory management, product quality assurance, segmentation, targeting and positioning within the business services.  The successful candidate will focus on short and long-term account service offerings. Success will be measured by order accuracy, customer retention, plant efficiencies, improved EBIT, delivering the highest OTIFNE (On Time In Full No Errors) results, and high customer satisfaction ratings.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the processing and management of orders through the supply chain. Develop and implement account service strategies with regard to inventories, materials and delivery planning.
  • Ensure on time deliveries and the communication of the status of those deliveries.
  • Plan and develope of long and short-term customer order requirements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing timely communications with account contacts.
  • Manage, maintain and build strong relationships with customers/working partners.
  • Maximize customer value and satisfaction by providing sound solutions to both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is met, including fast response to enquiries and proper handling of customer feedback.
  • Ensure and maintain the highest quality services offered.
  • Support policies that promote the company's service, culture and vision.
  • Actively participate to make constant improvement of internal systems, processes and procedures.
  • Support Service Excellence through system automation, vigorous adherence to service standards and utilization of best practices by facilitating communications to customers and throughout the internal partners.
  • Maintain full accountability for the management and relationships of accounts within portfolio.


  • Undergraduate degree or two year technical degree is required
  • Strong computer skills as demonstrated by a minimum of 4 years working with advance operating systems
  • Prior responsibility for or the management of customers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer accounts through rigorous order and material management processes
  • Strong customer management acumen, with depth of understanding CRM, order and inventory management systems
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Goal oriented, proactive self-starter
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work with a high level of accuracy
  • Exeprience with ERP systems - SAP preferred
  • The ability to travel up to 25%
