Job Description

Key Responsibilities/ Essential functions:

·        Global responsibility for key board Customer accounts

·        Broad understanding of the global and North American board market in order to position the organization strategically with current and potential customers. Makes recommendations on how to better position Evergreen products in the marketplace

·        Act as the voice of the customer to align customers’ and Evergreen Packaging’s strategies, objectives, and expectations

·        Work with Evergreen’s Sales and Operations Planning to align customers’ forecasts with Evergreen’s production execution planning

·        Collaborate with operations to ensure that we provide the right product quality and service to meet the needs of our strategic board accounts

·        Provide routine quality and service feedback to operations

·        Account lead on strategic board accounts

·        Build and maintain strong customer relationships

·        Act as Evergreen’s management point of contact for key board accounts

·        Expert in market dynamics and in positioning Evergreen Packaging with current and potential customers in a way that creates mutual, sustainable value

·        Establish productive relationships with peers and internal company team members to assist in representing the voice of the customer for our quality and service platform

·        Responsible as hub to coordinate process for continuous quality, supply chain, and product specification improvement with our key board accounts

·        Develops and manages sales budgets for key board accounts and sets performance goals accordingly

·        Monitors competitor products, sales, and marketing activities to adjust marketing strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions

Education and Experience Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree

·        5-10 years of experience is sales. Experience in the paper and board industry is preferred

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Physical Demands:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

Travel Requirements: 50% US and International
