What you can expect: This position is part of a team in one of our paper mills – Pine Bluff, AR or Canton, NC. This team is responsible for the availability and functionality of the process control systems for the plant. The engineers on this team implement and maintain all functions of the control systems for the process to achieve availability, cost and functionality goals.
Goal of Program:
You will learn and understand the dynamics of how controls is heavily involved in the paper making process. You will also develop a clear understanding of engineer documentation, inspection procedures, processes and troubleshooting, capital project work.
Plan to visit our Paper Mill to learn paper making and assist with various controls tasks. We will keep you busy with various small and large projects putting to use all that you have learned so far in your college courses
