The human resource intern provides assistance with the human resource function at our Pine Bluff Arkansas mill location. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Basic Job Duties
The HR Intern needs to be able to perform many tasks at once and handle responsibilities that can change every day. They must be orderly, adaptable, professional, courteous and motivated and must work well on their own or as a member of the team. They also should possess strong typing skills and be well versed in other areas of office work. The HR Intern needs to be a strong communicator, able to convey important information to co-workers, superiors and job candidates. This person must have as strong desire to move up in the organization and seeks a career in Human Resources. Must also have basic computer skills in Microsoft products: Email, Excel, Word and Power Point. Proficient in the use of fax and copy machines.
Work Environment & Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This job operates in an office environment. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
