This role will report to the Organizational Development and Change Leader, and will partner with senior leaders and HR leaders across the U.S. This role will specifically help solve complex organizational challenges and implement change strategies while transferring OD mindset, knowledge, skills and tools. Participate or lead projects and initiatives pertaining to organization/facility assessments, assessing organization/facility design needs, conducting comprehensive workforce planning, developing change and transition plans, and cultivating an energized culture. This role will provide subject matter expertise to facility leaders.

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with leaders to develop and execute a strategy for organization development and change management.

  2. Assess and diagnose workforce dynamics culture to generate evidence-based insight into the root causes of business, organizational, and operational issues, and provide recommendations as relevant.

  3. Provide organizational development planning, solutions & services (processes, tools and resources) to facility, business leaders and HR Partners which may include talent and workforce planning, team effectiveness, culture management, organizational design, business performance & OD diagnostics, capability planning, etc. Ensure OD efforts are aligned with business strategies and desired business results.

  4. Lead the delivery of change management solutions in support of high impact, strategically-aligned transformational initiatives to maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.  Develop change management plans and identify people-related risks and mitigation strategies to drive alignment and commitment to specific business practice, process and technology opportunities.  Drive stakeholder management, communication planning and execution across transformational projects. Work with leaders to develop their capabilities in effectively leading change among and with their employees.

  5. Assess talent and teams for capabilities and skills through a robust workforce planning process.  Work with leaders to develop plans to close gaps.  Partner in execution and ensure deliverables are met.

  6. Put in place a consolidated portfolio of processes, tools, & resources needed to effectively support the OD/Change Management Strategy.

  7. Assess the organization's talent against their near-term and longer-term business needs and identify needed actions to ensure the right talent is on board.

Discern patterns and connections in data and information to leverage in assessment and design work. Expertly communicate complex information in simple ways that influence and energize people into action, and ultimately sustain change.

  • Organization Diagnosis and Design: Translate the strategic business goals into organizational capabilities to drive alignment through holistic organization development and design. Demonstrate ability to use a variety of assessment methods to gather and analyze data to fit the business context. Differentiate between symptoms and root causes.

  • Systems Thinker:  Able to see work processes holistically but also break down work into its constituent components.

  • Strong Communicator:  excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with all kinds of people at all levels, inside and outside of the organization. Ability to adapt approach to the situation.

  • Project Management:  an organized and efficient project manager. 

  • Results Orientation with Strong Ownership:  Roll up sleeves and get things done.

  • High Trust and Integrity:  Can keep information confidential



Bachelor's degree in Organization Development or related with 3+ years related experience in Organization Development role within a manufacturing environment. 

Master of Science in Organization Development or MBA preferred.
