The Store Room Coordinator has the primary authority and responsibility for overseeing the management of storeroom inventories and activity. This role serves as the central point of contact for all MRO materials management.
The Store Room Coordinator makes a direct contribution to important plant goals of increasing labor productivity, reducing maintenance costs and improving equipment reliability. This is accomplished through the following activities:
Specific Job Activities:
Day-to-day operations and management of all store room functions
Demonstrate SAP proficiency in the Materials Management function
Drive high service level in support of planned and unplanned maintenance work
Routinely review Inventory min and max levels and adjust as necessary
Generate strategic reports (i.e., daily stock movement, UnderMin, OverMax, weekly Storeroom valuation/accuracy)
Adhere to company purchasing procedures
Schedule and perform routine Inventory cycle counts in order to maintain consistent Inventory levels
Enforce Storeroom policies and procedures (i.e. Inventory security and check out procedures)
Work with Maintenance personnel to update part information of min/max, where used and criticality
Routinely review part information of Vendor, cost, lead time, etc. and update as necessary
Work with approved Vendors to purchase and deliver needed materials
Manage stock levels needed to support daily manufacturing and maintenance material requirements
Receive all incoming shipments and reconcile through SAP
Maintain Storeroom 5S
Able to communicate effectively – Production, Maintenance, Vendors
Initiate and manage change
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Proficiency in SAP
Technical degree desired
3+ years relevant experience desired
Knowledge of plant equipment and processes
Practical knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems
