Job Description

We are currently seeking a Production Clerk in our Turlock, CA facility. This is an industrial environment, and the facility has approximately 130 employees.

The Production Clerk will be responsible for a variety of production administrative tasks. The individual updates of plant reports in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining plant files for the various departments. This ideal candidate will be responsible for balancing Roll stock receipts and consumption daily. Submit various monthly G/L account reconciliation’s and serves as a Backup for our Payroll Accountant.The Production Clerk provides clerical support for departments in the facility.

The primary duties of a Production/Admin Clerk include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding, following and enforcing all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.

  • Production Entry
  • Uploading daily production reports and reviewing them for accuracy, communicate any production entry errors to the appropriate manager and ensure that they are corrected in SAP.

The Production Clerk is required to interact with other managers, employees, vendors, and customers. Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements of the position:

  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
  • Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally.
  • Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others


  • Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in accounting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good reconciliation and problem solving skills.

  • Flexible to work with many projects at a time.

  • SAP knowledge a must.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
