Job Description

If you enjoy setting others up for success, like working with machines and have a desire to work with a company focused on your personal and professional development, you could be a great fit as our extrusion operator. You would be required to learn all aspects of the extrusion process and become a fully certified Operator. Your position, should you choose to accept it, involves setting up and adjusting a 65” extruder with four laminating stations. Our company will count on you to lead the crew in this process. You will have plenty of opportunities to test and operate state of the art control systems and dies, ensuring that you are never bored a day on the job. Job Responsibilities

  • Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning and throughout every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature and general operation.

  • Examine visually and work with Quality Inspector to ensure that we are producing according to company and customer specifications and standards, making adjustments as needed.

  • Work with team members, maintenance and all necessary personnel to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

  • Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions, and take corrective measures to ensure we are producing a quality product.

  • Make repairs to equipment when necessary, and replace all defective, broken or worn out components.

  • Choose and install impression rolls, dies and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency.



  • At least two years of experience in a production workspace

  • Ability to fast-track through established certification process at all levels

  • High school diploma or its equivalent

  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds

  • Able to read measurements


  • Well-organized and history of showing initiative

  • Knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations
