This is an entry-level position for a technical candidate looking to come into an organization, learn the business and develop their career. This position will allow the successful candidate to learn the business and interact with all levels of the organization. The primary duties of the Training and Certification Leader are to coordinate and manage the job specific training and subsequent certification for the hourly employees within the facility. In collaboration with subject matter experts within each department, this position will require the candidate to drive and inspire training through collaboration and partnership with all levels of the organization to gain buy – in, support and self-ownership. In partnership with functional managers, the Training and Certification Leader will be responsible for ensuring that training materials are adequate for each position, that department leads are conducting and completing the necessary training with employees, and that subsequent skills demonstrations are completed to ensure training effectiveness. The successful candidate will work directly with department leads to accomplish this. This is an excellent position to allow for learning, development, and growth within the organization. This position will report to the Plant Manager.
